----- An exclusive interview to Mr. Wett Wu, PINTECH’s General Manager of the Asia-Pacific region 

The first brand in the oscilloscope probe application technical field----Pintech,taking the popularizing and expanding oscilloscope probe standard technique indicator and standardizing the industrial standard as its own asignment,offerring the innovating products and full-line technical service,which makes Pintech became first choice for many oscilloscope manufacturers  matching probes’ OEM  outsourcing vendor.  Pintech brought active differential probe,high voltage probe,current probe,high voltage amplifer system to the market servicing for customers,and got highly praise from engineers,and we have become the focus in the instrumentation field.

Pintech advocates the Model enterprise cooperating spirit, Pintech thinks the product’s quality as our life,and our customer as our mother. These make Pintech got brilliant achievement. We must have some questions to ask here: what support Pintech seeks their goal?What’s Pintech’s future goal? With these questions, Media”Instrument & Meter NEWS” interviews Mr. Wett Wu, PINTECH’s General Manager of the Asia-Pacific region(= Mr.Wu below), and let him introduce and share the experience & CHEVEMENT which Pintech has obtained.   

I&M: Hi,Mr. Wu, I am glad that you accept our interview,firstly,can you share the developing history of Pintech with us? 

Mr. Wu: In January 1990, the United States DKM group invested and set up Taiwan PINTECH Electronics Co.Ltd. And registered the “PINTECH” trademark . In May 1991, world’s first isolation probe was created by PINTECH, and finally solved the two floating voltage test problem which had bothered many engineers all the time. This creation got many international technical patents, and laid the foundation of the “two floating" voltage test. With the increasingly developing and mature technology, we have created our own active differencial probe, high pressure test probe, high pressure meter, current probe, high voltage amplification machine, these products got many engineer’s approval. In 1995, we got our first OEM order from American HP Company by making the matched probe for them. With our continuous efforts, now PINTECH has become many oscilloscope manufacturers’ sole OEM probe supplier.

    

    These 33 years,our mission is”Devoting ourselves on the filed of oscilloscope,inventing centeries brand”,Pintech is willing to help developping oscilloscope,we never mind being the supporting role. Now,we get what we want,we have become the sole OEM manufacturer of Tektronix,Agilent & Lecroy ,more than 90% oscilloscope manufacturers signed long-term market strategy partner. And we attended drafting the technical indicator of global oscilloscope, became the pioneer of the oscilloscope probe technique. And we are pround to say: We have become the “Michelin

“ in the field of instrument field. We are doing ourselves,and we are making our parnters brilliant.   

I&M: An enterprise’s development depends on innovating technique,in the meanwhile, need to make sure product’s good quality and high-efficient after-sales service, quality will influence product’s life cycle,how do Pintech make sure about the product’s quality?What effective actions make you stands out from the  rat race?

Mr. Wu:Pintehc has sold its products more than 50 countries all over the world.And until now,we got more than 50 technical patents and more than 20 design patent,and 5 of them are invention patents,our products’ manufacturing not only follow in strict accordance with the company’s 30 years steps,we brought in advanced enterprise’s quality management system for standardized management,we even entrust a third party quality certification institution to do inspection. Our after-sales service will under the role of: Offering substitutes within 2 days to our customers, repairing products will be returned to customers within 10 days.  

Mr. Wu: Since we researched and developped the world’s first oscilloscope differential probe,we have products: active differential probe,passive probe,high voltage probe,current probe,flexible current probe,and high voltage meter,etc. In order to developing and servicing for our customers,2001,we established”Guangzhou DEKEM Electronics.Co,.Ltd” 

Pintech thinks the product’s quality as our life,we think highly of our product’s quality with meticulosity. Everyone knows that, glonal’s enterprise’s average lige is less than 10 years,more than 80% of the enterprise seek aimless development with overexpansion, short sucess make them ignore product’s quality and service.

I&M:What’re the new products in Pintech?What’s the new product’s characteristic?Compare with other products,what’s the superiority & speciality of your new products? Which industries do your products offerring support and service for?

Mr. Wu: After 33 years development,we pushout 1 product every 3-5 months,we develop new technology, new feature and new idea products with convenient & efficient using,high efficient measurement.These make our products being the leading ones. The same saying,we are a brand with 33 years experience, with best quality,technique,and best service.

    We got the opportunity and challenge of the rapid development of the new energy photovoltaic and electric power industries in recent years, with our own brand and our tireless pursuit of truth in science, our technical indicators became measurement standards of this field .

I&M: As far as we know, Pintech has become many oscilloscope’s matching probes’ sole OEM vendor, are you planning to expand your product scope? And you said that more than 90% oscilloscope manufacturers signed long-term market strategy partner,can you introduce some important ones among them?What’s the achievement for this kind of cooperation?

Mr.Wu:These years,we explore and broke the technique bottleneck with some Giants in the industry, for example, Tektronix,Agilent,Lecroy,Fluke,Yokogawa,Kyoritsu,Osram,Philips and GM are our cooperating partners.

And the meaning of “expanding” here is not the same as yours,our”expanding”means improveing and upgrading on the basic of the foundation,concerning the products which havn’t any relation with our original products,we won;t consider about it now, at least in the near 10 years.We will being the supporting one all the time,devoting ourselves in the filed silently.

I&M: Pintech attended drafting the technical indicator of global oscilloscope, which technical invocationshave become the standards? Attending drafting the technical indicator of global oscilloscope brought what kind of development and improvement to Pintech?

Mr. Wu: “Be the first to show concern and the last to enjoy oneself !” How can we talk about the development of the enterprice without talking about the development of industry? Pintech’s measurement means about “two floating points measurement” , “singal ended on earth”& “two points on earth” have been the standard. After seeking high standard, improving product quality, invocating technique,getting Intellectual autonomy, and being positively in revising standards,Pintech finally become the leader.   

I&M: With Pintech’s continuously development,occupying the international market is the only way. How’s your developping in the international market?How about in china?How to offerring good service?

Mr. Wu: We just offerring OEM service for Tektronix,Agilent and Lecroy innitailly, our first step is international, we didn’t sell in china in 2000,until now,we have office in Guangzhou,Shenzhen and Suzhou,and we are now planning openning more production line in china,so that we can offer more convenient and efficient service to our customers. 

I&M: “People first.” Absorbing more people with ability is energy of an enterprise’s development.On the mode oftalent construction enterprise management,do you have some inspiration and experience to share?

Mr.Wu: To the talents, we hope to stimulate and mobilize their initiative,enthusiasm and creativity,we hoop that all of our contributive employees feel that company is their home, Pintech’s enterprise is their own enterprise,we hope that they can have sense of presence and belonging in company. And joint-stock reform is the next way of Pintech in coming years.

I&M:Facing the problems of irregular competition in this field,competitive products are with low technique, how do you think about the Chinese instrument market? What marketing strategies will be taken to deal with it? 

Mr. Wu: After more than 30 years’ reform and opening up, China has undergone enormous changes, electronic measurement and as the spring breeze of reform brown most of china, the demands of instrument are with rapid development, but along with is the uneven quality. It takes 30 years for us to build a myth of “Shenzhen”, but the quality and service are playing important role just like people’s quality and cultivation,it needs one generation, two generation, or even three generation’s attempt to achieve that. Any  product, if want to be the successful one, must acheve and accumulate step by step,to achieve succeed,there is no shortcut.   

I&M: At last,can you tell us about your goal or plan in 2013?And what will you do to expand your market and influence?

Mr Wu: “ A new product will be developped every 3-5 moths” ,this witness our sucess,with the enterprise development,only if we innovoating and exploring all the time,can we got these achievement! 2013,we will still doing the same,develop steady, improve all the time is our aim!
